Your 7 night all-inclusive Nosara, Costa Rica surf adventure vacation itinerary is as follows:
Costa Rica Surf Vacation DAY 1 -
Upon your arrival in Nosara, Costa Rica you will be welcomed at the airport by your American chauffer and vacation host. You will be picked up in your chauffeured 4x4 SUV that will be used for transportation to all vacation activities. First, we will take you to your beautiful private home and let you unpack and settle in. Your own vacation home with a stocked refrigerator of your favorite drinks and food awaits your arrival. Once settled, you will be picked-up to start your Costa Rica surf vacation and taken to one of the best restaurants in town, where you will enjoy dinner and drinks near the beach. After enjoying your first authentic Costa Rican meal you will be taken back to your home to rest for your exciting 2nd day in paradise.
Costa Rica Surf Vacation DAY 2 -
Your second day in paradise begins with our Costa Rica surfing orientation. After orientation you will be outfitted with your surf gear and taken to the beach for your first land lesson. Once you are taught safety, step-by-step instruction and pop-ups we will charge the waves for a few hours, where you will be given individual coaching. Your entire experience will be video taped, both for coaching and DVD footage for you to take home. Next we are off to the jungle for an amazing horseback or ATV tour. The adventure tour starts in the lush mountains, riding through the jungle along rivers where you will experience all of the flourishing wildlife and plants. The tour finishes at the coast where you can ride along the breaking surf.
Costa Rica Surf Vacation DAY 3 -
Starting with your second surf lesson, we will try and find some slightly larger waves to help you advance while you work on timing sets and board walking. Your personal photographer will be capturing photos while you play in the warm Costa Rican waters. After lunch we have another incredible Costa Rica adventure planned, the longest canopy and zip line tour in the world. Most of the 21 zip lines are between 500 to 600 meters long and several hundred feet high, offering the most spectacular views of the surrounding jungle. There is even a stop at the largest waterfall in the region, with river pools and endless forest trails to observe nature and listen to the howler monkeys in this tropical paradise. When you complete your tour, your host will be waiting to take you back to home to relax or go check out the local nightlife.
Costa Rica Surf Vacation DAY 4 -
By the time you reach day 4 you will probably feel the need for a day of relaxation, and that is exactly what we aim to provide. Today you can sleep in and then enjoy some of the local food and drinks we have provided before you stroll down to the beach and explore your surroundings. In the afternoon, you will be chauffeured to town for your massage appointment to help relieve your sore muscles. After your one hour massage there will be some more time for shopping or Costa Rica sightseeing before returning to your private residential home.
Costa Rica Surf Vacation DAY 5 -
Now that you are rested and relaxed, it is time to return to your Costa Rica surfing adventures. Your third Costa Rica surfing lesson will be at one of the most beautiful beaches in Nosara where you will work on board control, basic steering, and a few tricks. After a few hours of surfing and laying on the beach you will embark on a exciting ocean kayaking adventure to an uninhabited island. This is truly an adventure of a lifetime. Your private tour launches from the beach and through the large bay where you may spot dolphins or whales as you paddle out to your private island. Explore, look for shells, or snorkel the amazing reef just feet offshore a perfect white sand beach. If a private island kayak tour isn't the adventure for you, then you can choose an optional paddle down the jungle river and explore all the wildlife it offers.
Costa Rica Surf Vacation DAY 6 -
Today starts with your fourth surfing lesson that will bring your ability and skill up to the next level. You will begin to learn advanced techniques to help you conquer the most challenging of waves. After you catch a great set of waves it is time to enjoy the rest of your day doing whatever you desire. This is your free day to just relax on the beach, visit the local stores, explore the National Wildlife Reserve or just lounge outside by the pool.
Costa Rica Surf Vacation DAY 7 -
The day will begin with a special surf trip and put to use all that you have learned in your first four surf lessons. You will surf one of the best surf breaks in Costa Rica while you are videotaped to prove to all those back home that you have mastered the Costa Rica waves. After your last professional surf session ends, we will stop for lunch and then off to your next adventure, a private waterfall adventure. This waterfall adventure is not a tourist spot, this series of three waterfalls is on private land and the hike gives you the best look at true Costa Rica nature. Your destination is a secret swimming hole at the base of a 50 foot waterfall that is completely shaded by large trees. When you are ready to go, you will be taken back to enjoy your last night in Costa Rica relaxing on the beach or experiencing more of the local nightlife.
Costa Rica Surf Vacation DAY 8 -
Your last day will depend on your flight times, but we will try and accommodate any requests for a final walk on the beach or last minute shopping. Today as we say our goodbyes, you will receive your CD and DVD diary of your Costa Rica vacation. Lastly, you will be chauffeured back to either the Nosara or Liberia airport for your final flight home. Pura Vida!
